On Saturday, Kingfisher boxers finished the domestic season on a high with all boxers winning.

Liam Goddard competing at the Samuel Montague show in London against home club boxer Brad Mitchell.

Goddard put on his best performance of the season to beat his older, more experienced opponent.

Mitchell attempted to rush Goddard from the first bell, however Goddard matched his opponent punch for punch, eventually getting the better of him.

Goddard, who won the bout by a unanimous points win, dictated the rest of the bout. Goddard also received an extra trophy for best away boxer.

The other two competing boxers also won, this time at the Berry Boys Tournament in Basildon Essex.

The ever-improving Curtis Williams had a return bout against his Eastern Counties finalist opponent N Tippler from Chalvedon. For the first two rounds Williams proved too good a boxer for Tippler and impressed the present Eastern Counties and England team coaches. The finial round saw Williams stand toe to toe with Tippler, which saw his opponent gain ground. Williams won the bout by a majority point's verdict.

Last season's junior ABA champion and England representative Caine Brunning against this season's senior ABA semi-finalist O Sirmanis from Eastgate won on all the judges' cards.

Brunning was supposed to box this same boxer for the Eastern Counties title before an injury forced him to withdraw earlier this season. Hurting his opponent early in the first forced Sirmanis to attempt to hold and upset Brunning. Brunning controlled the bout from the off and made it clear to the Eastern Counties and England team coaches that he is after the U64kg place - even possibly in time for the 2012 Olympics providing he has a good season in 2010/2011.

Jade Munro had a skills bout in preparation for her national final in Portsmouth tomorrow all at Kingfisher ABC wish her good luck.

The final boxer to complete this season for the club will be the season's senior U20 champion and senior ABA semi-finalist Paulius Maciuvillius when he competes in the Harringay cup in London mid June. He is in the Elite class and his two potential opponents are England No 3 Tommy Langford and England No 1 and current ABA champion Anthony Fowler. Maciuvillius is currently No 5 in England.
