Clean sweep: Catherine Lee from Great Yarmouth Athletics Club


Catherine Lee from Great Yarmouth Athletics Club, competed at Bure Park for the schools championships for her last time defending her title for winning the cross country previously.

In the 3km race the weather conditions were very good. Catherine took the race from the start and kept it throughout the race and had a comfortable lead. This was Catherine’s last race because she is in Year 11.

When Catherine was in Year 5, she did this race and came third. In Year 6, she came second. When she was in Year 7 she came first representing Breydon Middle School.

Catherine won the race in Year 9, Year 10 and her latest success completed the clean sweep with Cliff Park High School.
