Popular and new works will feature in a Great Yarmouth man’s second solo exhibition in his home town.

Artist Daniel McGrath only picked up a paintbrush four years ago, but has developed enough of a following to make a living from his work.

Known for his darker images and themes he is promising some “happier” works with depictions of flowers in pastels, a new medium for him.

The 38-year-old of King Street, Yarmouth, has exhibited in Norwich but not on his own in the town for two years.

Some 40 works will be hung in Harvey Wilson’s gallery in Market Row this week including Paint it Black and Tears of Freedom which are well-known to fans.

The exhibition will run from Friday September 8 when there is a preview evening to Saturday September 23.

Mr McGrath will be at the gallery on Saturday September 16, 10-4pm.

All the pieces are for sale.
