Broadway theme to Chorus concert

After the great success with Broadway Favourites at Gorleston's Pavilion Theatre in March 2009 and the Summer Concert last July the Chorus of St Cecilia is presenting Broadway Hits! next month.

After the great success with Broadway Favourites at Gorleston's Pavilion Theatre in March 2009 and the Summer Concert last July the Chorus of St Cecilia is presenting Broadway Hits! next month. Hits ongs and music from some of the most popular shows ever written including My Fair Lady, Chicago, Showboat, Oliver!, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera. The choir will be conducted by musical director Matthew Hardy with John Stephens at the grand piano.

Guest soloists will be Neil Francis who recently appeared in the Lowestoft Players production of Chess; Judi Mars, who has appeared in many London West End shows and concerts; Kirsty Lewis, a long-standing member of the choir is back from her appointment as Mary Poppins in Disney Land US. Also performing will be the Junior Singers.

Tickets for the March 18 to 20 evening performances are £10 and concessions £8.50 from the Dance Shop, High Street, Gorleston and the Pavilion box office, or phone bookings on on 01502 733625.
