Archant

Take one pumpkin, a handful of mice to pull it, plus a wave of the Fairy Godmother’s wand and Cinderella shall go to the Ball.

On December 6 the pantomime Cinderella will take to the stage at Gorleston Pavilion.

For the past eleven years Ohyesitiz Productions have staged the pantomime at the Edwardian theatre.

Once again the script and direction are the work of seasoned actor Desmond Barrit.

Part of this year’s treat will be to see Mr Barrit portray one of the vain, overbearing Ugly Sisters, Valderma and Germolina.

He plays Germolina and his equally awful sister Valderma is played by Downton Abbey footman actor Thomas Howes.

Cinderella is 21-year-old Norwich City College drama graduate Laura Roome.

Cinderella runs daily from December 6 to December 30. For tickets call the box office on 01493 662832 or visit www.gorlestonpavilion.com
