THERE will be a feast of Gilbert and Sullivan music in St Catherine's Church, Ludham on the evening of Saturday, March 21, when the church plays host to the Great Yarmouth Gilbert and Sullivan Society. The society has achieved much in the 54 years since it was founded and performs Gilbert and Sullivan concerts by invitation throughout Norfolk and north Suffolk. The society has, in the past, performed as far afield as Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire and Felixstowe as part of its festivals, but the most recent concerts have been performed in Great Yarmouth Town Hall where it all started over 50 years ago. The choir has now been enticed to travel again and Ludham will benefit from their visit. Tickets for the concert which starts at 7.30 pm are £8 and may be obtained from Ludham Butchers, Ken Grapes 01692 678437 or Alec Cordiner 01692 678682.
