It’s just days until the start of the Hippodrome Christmas Spectacular which runs from December 10 to January 8, and advance bookings are a new record on any previous year.

The brand new Christmas show features thrilling motor bikes in the globe from Brazil, the amazing wheel of death from Mexico plus Billy George on the cyr wheel and Mikail the heartthrob balance and Trapeze Washington star.

Added to this are swimmers, dancers and a large children’s dance troupe from the Dance Estelle School, plus Jack Jay and Tom Gaskins’ hilarious interludes, the water spectacle and much more it sets the scene for a magical Christmas season.

The Hippodrome is now one of the biggest Christmas attractions in the whole of Europe and its special New Year’s Eve show with an electric atmosphere had become the highlight of the year.

And watch out for Father Christmas’ car out and about in the borough.
