The Univited

Local rock/pop band The Uninvited play at the California Tavern for the first time, on Friday, June 9.

The Uninvited hit the local music scene in 2013, and are made up of experienced musicians from the local area. The band plays classic and modern music from the Seventies to now, embracing rock, pop, country rock, and R&B. The Harmony vocals of Nicky Rushton and Sue McNeil are a strong feature of their sound.

The band’s line up is: Nicky Rushton – lead vocals and acoustic guitar (ex Thieving Gypsies and Sliver), Sue McNeil – harmony and backing vocals (ex Thieving Gypsies and The Disciples), John Dallimore – lead guitar and backing vocals (ex Bazooka Joe), Alex Sharkey – bass and vocals (ex Missundazstood), and Kevin Hunt – drums (ex Runestaff, Thieving Gypsies, and Sliver).

For the California Tavern show, the band will be on stage around 9pm. Admission to the family friendly venue is free.
