Work is due to re-start on building a JD Wetherspoon pub in Gorleston tomorrow after construction was halted when workmen discovered a crypt on the site.

It was a train station that served the town of Gorleston for nearly 70 years as passengers and freight travelled between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

This Sunday marks the 75th anniversary of the fire-bombing of St Nicholas Church in Great Yarmouth, which resulted in its virtual destruction.
