One reader believes that President Donald Trump has many supporters and others should overlook his more questionable actions.

I cannot be the only one fed up with Donald Trump being constantly ridiculed by the media and the vast majority of the population in the UK. I wish people would spend time looking at the facts.

It makes a refreshing change to have a President who is also an incredibly successful businessman not doing the job just to line his own pockets. In the UK the majority of MPs are purely doing the job to serve themselves as opposed to serving the public they are meant to represent.

Donald Trump has built up a massive business empire and since being President the US economy and stock market is booming and he has recently managed to introduce a major tax reduction policy.

At the recent Swiss Confederation meeting Trump met with Theresa May and promised there would be an increase in trade between the USA and the UK which will be great for jobs in the UK post Brexit.

Surely even the anti-Trump brigade have to admit this is excellent news for the UK.
