This black and white snap of an egg collection in Great Yarmouth’s Market Place was brought in by Margaret Vince.
Margaret, of Hill Avenue, Gorleston, was sorting through her late dad’s possessions when she came across the picture, which was taken in 1923 outside the trustee bank.
It shows some of the St Andrews Scout troupe collecting eggs for Yarmouth Hospital. The young Scout standing in the middle to the right of the picture is Margaret’s uncle Walter Higgleton, who was 11 at the time the picture was taken.
