THIS stunning, colourful photo of a rainbow was taken by young Mercury reader Ellie Symonds this afternoon (Friday, November 2).
Ellie, 15, was on Great Yarmouth beach near the Waterways at 3.20pm when she spotted the rainbow and quickly took a picture.
“There was only slight rainstorm,” explained Ellie. “But me and my mum got soaked whilst taking it, as it was still pouring down. Unfortunately, the rainbow quickly faded. Another one formed but that quickly faded too.”
