TRAVELLING through Norfolk in his caravan Tom Savage is a sight to behold, writes Peggy Sutton. “His beautifully painted wagon brings back memories of yesteryear when they were a regular sight around our country lanes. He makes pegs, walking sticks and flowers from sticks gathered from the hedgerows to sell along the way. He also uses discarded drinks cans, which he cuts into strips to ‘strap’ the pegs together, helping to keep the countryside tidy.”
Tom and his horse were pictured at Scratby by Peggy, of Hemsby.
