Bradwell Bowls Club’s weekend drive saw the annual Terry Shipton Shield take place on Saturday, with 22 members taking part. The eventual winner was John Laxton on 29-3 with Barry Hubbard runner up on 29-10, and the shield was presented by Kevin Shipton. On the Monday the top spot went to Allan Collins with 24-14 and finishing second having had a good weekend was John Laxton on 23-17.
