Re the article on the former Manor House Hotel (above) on Caister seafront and in the Mercury last week. I thought you might like a picture of some of the staff that worked there. The young woman in white on the right hand side was my grandmother Alice Maud Rogers, the cook; the man is a cousin of her’s, surname of Knights and a footman. The other young woman is unknown. My grandmother was born in 1881 and I think the picture was taken when she was approximately 17 or 18 years old.
