June 21, 1978 - Margaret Thatcher won the Conservative party, and is pictured visiting Richards Shipyard, Southtown, Great Yarmouth.
But it was also the year the Eleni V tanker foundered off the coast spilling oil onto the beaches, and was blown up at sea.
