Mark Collins, store manager, said: “At such a busy time of year, it's always useful to have some extra help and having Gorleston and Belton scout group in store will certainly help to speed up the checkout process for customers in the lead up to Christmas and bring some seasonal goodwill to all involved.”
Chief executive of the Scout Association Derek Twine said: “We're thrilled to be working with Sainsbury's to help raise awareness of the association and to support our fundraising efforts. Helping with bag packing at a store gives our scout groups a great opportunity to interact with the local community whilst also helping out Sainsbury's and their customers at one of the busiest times of year.”
