A 63-YEAR-old Hemsby man will appear at Norwich Crown Court to answer a charge of threatening two ambulance paramedics with an imitation firearm in his home.
Mark Western, of Mill Road, is alleged to have possessed the fake revolver with the intent to make Paul Rampley and Kenneth Peace believe violence would be used against them on December 6. The two paramedics attended his home after they received a call that he may have suffered an illness related to a medical condition.
On Monday, Western appeared before Great Yarmouth Magistrates where he was committed to Norwich Crown Court on January 6 for a plea and direction hearing. He was granted unconditional bail.
