A 15-YEAR-old boy has been charged with causing more than £7,000 worth of damage to two JCB diggers in Hopton. The youth, who cannot be named, was arrested by officers from the Southern Villages Safer Neighbourhood Team following the incident back in April.
A 15-YEAR-old boy has been charged with causing more than £7,000 worth of damage to two JCB diggers in Hopton.
The youth, who cannot be named, was arrested by officers from the Southern Villages Safer Neighbourhood Team following the incident back in April.
Two diggers on a building site at Coast Road, near to Potters Leisure Resort, were damaged to the value of £7,199.
The youth has also been charged with theft and driving without a licence, insurance and MoT.
He has been released on bail and will appeal before Peterborough Juvenile Court on Thursday .
