RESIDENTS from Bevans Court in Cobholm rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty in a bid to clean up their area. Children and parents took part in a litter pick alongside environmental rangers from the borough council and officers from Cobholm and Southtown Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Children and parents took part in a litter pick alongside environmental rangers from the borough council and officers from Cobholm and Southtown Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Thirteen volunteers from Cliff Park High School in Gorleston helped out in the event which was supported by Wherry Housing and Peddlars Way Housing Association.
Environmental ranger Pauline McConnachie briefed volunteers, which included 15 children from the area, who managed to fill three skips in a matter of hours.
In addition to the clear up 10 bicycles were security marked by police.
And officers from the SNT will work with pupils from Cliff Park High School to create a flower bed at St Lukes Church, Cobholm, next Thursday , and next Friday, August 15, the volunteers will give the Cobholm and Lichfield Health and Resource Centre a tidy up before its fun day on August 16.
