THE money pot for the James Paget's Palliative Care East appeal has almost reached £350,000.

And it looks set to be a good year, with dozens of money-spinning events being organised to help reach the fundraising goal of £1.5m.

A fashion show will be staged at the Atlantis Arena, in Great Yarmouth, on Thursday.

Organised by Lauren Major and Jordan Ayers, the show, called Kiss You Off, will include dancing and the hottest fashions to hit the high street this season, with clothes from stores including New Look, Match, Sawdust, Gorgio, Wardrobe, Sophisticats, and The Dance Shop being modelled.

Lauren said: “We felt that this was a good cause as terminal illness affects a lot of people. The centre will be a very valuable asset to this area. Our audience will be in for an evening of electrifying dance routines and, of course, fantastic clothes for both men and women.”

Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm. Tickets at £5 are available from the Atlantis Arena, The Dance Shop, The Precinct, Gorleston, Harringtons Hairdressers and Match, in Bevan Street, Lowestoft. Tickets will also be available on the door at £6.
