The British Red Cross is looking for volunteers to help collect at the Morrisons in Gorleston on Monday and Tuesday, June 12 and 13.
The charity is asking people to do a two-hour “shift”, holding a bucket and encouraging people to donate money to help people in crisis in Norfolk. All money raised will be spent on the charity’s work in the county including First Aid, wheelchair provision, help for the elderly and emergency response. The charity is collecting from 9am to 5pm.
Paul Fleet, senior community fundraiser for British Red Cross in Norfolk and Suffolk said: “I am really excited about this collection. The people of Gorleston and the surrounding area are always so friendly and generous. Obviously, the more volunteers we have, the more we can raise, so any support would be appreciated.”
