Great Yarmouth MP Brandon Lewis did the honours in traditional style at the re-opening of a re-modelled pharmacy.
Cutting the ribbon marked the end of a transformation for Greyfriars Pharmacy, neighbour to the former walk-in centre.
The pharmacy now caters for a large list of patients who transferred to the Lighthouse Surgery and has a repositioned entrance, better access for wheelchair users and buggies, and a new layout.
It also offers services including emergency contraception, erectile dysfunction clinic, stop smoking advice, health checks and seasonal flu vaccination.
A consultation room has also been made available for the out-of-hours GP service for patients who cannot travel to the James Paget. The unit is part of Loyal Pharmacy Ltd.
