From Ziggy Stardust to clowns and jockeys, scarecrows of all styles and sizes sprung up in Martham this week.
Dozens of handcrafted scarecrows went on show in Martham, for the ninth annual Scarecrow festival.
Visitors to the two day event were able to cast their eyes over 120 scarecrows, 28 yarn bombings and 22 pompoms.
There were also 61 garden and garage sales for people to grab a bargain from.
Around £1,900 was raised, and the money is to go towards projects in local villages.
Julie Beales, who is one of four organisers for the event said: “The festival was really great and so many people took part.
“It was great to see all the unique designs of scarecrows on show. There was a lot of colour and there was everything from clowns to famous characters.
“We would like to thank everyone who made any of the scarecrows, put on garden or garage sales, or sponsored prizes for both entries and the Lucky Square Raffle.
“We would also like to thank everyone who attended the event as we could not do this without you.”
The festival was one of many activities taking place around the village on Sunday and Monday.
A miniature garden designed by villagers is on show at Cornerstone Baptist Church, there is a flower festival and refreshments in the Methodist Church and an art exhibition in St Mary’s Church.
The Dragons stage and Theatre School and 901 Marine Cadets gave displays , while the chainsaw wood carvers demonstrated their art, and classical cars were also on show to admire.
Martham Fire Station on Rollesby Road held a charity car wash and also ran a charity shop.
Last year the event raised £1,700 which went towards buying Christmas Lights for trees on the village green.
The festival ran between Sunday, May 1 and Monday, May 2.
