Residents of the Borough of Great Yarmouth can save money and discover what’s right on their doorstep with a copy of the Great Yarmouth Mercury this Friday.

Tourist attractions across the borough will once again be opening their doors at bargain prices this weekend, Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16,

To take advantage of these special Days Out on your Doorstep offers, all readers have to do is watch out for the vouchers printed in the paper this Friday (June 14), cut them out and hand them in at the entrance to qualify for the special resident’s discount.

Offers include discounts on boat hire in Martham and boat tours in Rollesby at The Waterside, fun activities for all the family in Hemsby at the Fun Park and at Lost World Adventure Golf, younger children’s play activities in Gorleston at Playstax as well as opportunities to get up close and personal with animals of all sizes at Thrigby Wildlife Park and at Pettitts in Reedham.

Along Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile, which has recently been designated a World Host destination, discounted fun can be had by the whole family, with vouchers valid at Yesterday’s World, Quasar, Retroskate, Sea Life Centre, Wellington Bowl, Merrivale Model Village, Sara’s Tearooms and the Pleasure Beach.

Heritage lovers can enjoy discounted entry at Time and Tide, The Nelson Museum and at Great Yarmouth Potteries and Smoke House as well as when taking part in Heritage Guided Walks leaving from the Fisherman’s Hospital gates in the Market Place.

Racegoers don’t miss out either, with Yarmouth Stadium and Great Yarmouth Racecourse also offering discounted entry on race days in June – please note these dates differ from the specific Days Out on your Doorstep weekends.
