POTTERS Leisure Resort in Hopton has come away with two awards based on on-line reviews and opinions compiled by travellers’ ratings on TripAdvisor. The Traveller’s Choice Award 2012 for Families is awarded to the hotels most highly rated by those guests who travelled with families. The second accolade Potters achieved was The Certificate of Excellence.
To qualify businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. Potters Leisure Resort has maintained the highest overall rating of five. Brian Potter MBE, chairman of the popular resort, said: “What makes these awards so special is that they come directly from customers who’ve stayed with us and their reviews.”
Brian added: “There’s no hiding place for the tourism industry, you’ve got to give 100pc quality product and customer service every time or the world will know about it.”
