SHOPPERS in Great Yarmouth are being urged by police to keep an eye on their things after a purse was stolen on Marine Parade. The theft took place on Saturday, June 5 between 2pm and 6.
SHOPPERS in Great Yarmouth are being urged by police to keep an eye on their possesions after a purse was stolen on Marine Parade.
The theft took place on Saturday, June 5 between 2pm and 6.30pm while the victim was shopping on the seafront.
The purse, which had been in a string type handbag, was on the handle of a pushchair. A spokesman for the police said:
“As the weather improves and more people are out and about across the county, thieves will take the opportunity to make thefts from handbags and other similar items which have been left unattended or insecure.”
