THE former number two at a Luton school has been selected to be the new principal of the planned academy at Oriel High in Gorleston.
Nicole McCartney has been recruited to take over at Oriel after leaving Barnfield West Academy in Luton.
She is likely to take up her role at the academy when it opens in its current buildings from September.
