Lord Nelson's famous naval victory over the French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar will be celebrated in Winterton, on Saturday.
The village's 901 Troop Marine cadets will be joining forces with the Fort of Cumberland historical re-enactment group from Portsmouth who will be donning 19th military and weapons to commemorate the 1805 sea battle.
From 2pm outside the Fishermans Return pub the cadets will be showing casing modern military drills while their south coast colleagues will be priming their muskets.
As well as the two different styles of military drill, the cadet's band will be performing a rousing set, including a rendition of Dad's Army and Titanic.
Senior cadet officer Terry Byrne said the event was important as it reinforced the cadets' strong links to the exploits and traditions of the nation's greatest naval hero.
