A partnership neighbourhood board is being set up covering Cobholm, Southtown and Halfway House.
The public are invited to the launch meeting on Monday at the Kings Centre, Queen Anne's Road starting 1pm.
The aim of the initiative is to ensure that services are meeting the needs of local people.
The meeting will focus on setting up a board and working on deciding to spend a �10,000 local Community Cohesion Fund award.
