FUNDRAISERS are being urged to put their best foot forward to raise money for the Palliative Care East appeal in memory of a mother-of-two from Belton who died after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
A series of fun exercise and sporting challenges have been arranged at Fitness 2000 in Great Yarmouth next Saturday to raise money to pay for the garden at the new palliative care centre in the grounds of the James Paget University Hospital.
The cash from the day will go towards a 30,000 fundraising target set by the family of Carla Saunders, who died aged just 33 in August less than a year after being given the awful news she had cancer.
A barbecue will be taking place throughout the day and there will be free gym inductions for anyone booking on the day.
For more information, either phone the gym on 01493 442317, e-mail fitness.2000@btconnect.com or visit www.fitness2000.co.uk.
