YOUNGSTERS may view a river or lake as a tempting means of cooling off this summer but BroadsBeat officers are issuing a clear message to stay out of the water.
YOUNGSTERS may view a river or lake as a tempting means of cooling off this summer but BroadsBeat officers are issuing a clear message to stay out of the water.
The message comes after the BroadsBeat team found approximately 40 youngsters swimming and being anti-social at Caen Meadow, Wroxham, during a recent two-week period.
All of the youngsters causing the trouble were spoken to by the police and either given a warning or words of advice about the dangers they were putting themselves in and other Broads users.
The Broads Beat team are regularly out on their boat patrolling the Norfolk Broads to ensure the safety of those who use the Broads and to make the Broads a safer place.
For further information or to contact the Broads Beat call 0845 456 4567.
