YOUNG people in Great Yarmouth are being encouraged to sign up to a pioneering programme designed to improve the people's employment chances and inspire a new generation of volunteers.
Vtalent is looking for 15 volunteers to join the yearlong project at Great Yarmouth College.
The 16 to 25-year-olds will have the chance to learn new skills, gain a qualification and volunteer in an area of the college that interests them.
Students will receive an allowance of up to �100 a week for expenses and would be eligible to apply for a �1,500 personal
development grant at the end of the year to help them progress on to further study, training or employment.
The 44-week programme starts next month and finishes in July.
