All pupils at the school undertake a short course in CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) sponsored by the British Heart Foundation and have been dealing with role-play situations which involved choking, severe bleeding and heart attacks.
The Heartstart UK Schools Programme is being introduced to all schools in Norfolk and providing teachers with a teaching pack, equipment, Resus-Annie manikins and lifesaving training at no cost to the schools involved.
