GORLESTON and Bradwell Churches Together organised a Walk of Witness on Good Friday, processing from the Lifeboat Station car park to Magdalen Methodist Church.

Starting at the Lifeboat Station, the group of around 80 people made their way to Feathers Plan and the Magdalen Arms, where a readings and two songs were sung before a prayer was said and then the walkers moved on continuing towards Magdalen Methodist Church.

At the church, the walkers were joined by other members to swell the number to 140, where they enjoyed a short service led by minister Rev Betty Trinder.

Afterwards refreshments were served in the church hall and traditional hot cross buns were in plenty. To finish the event people were invited to take part in a Lenten lunch at St Peter's Roman Catholic Church.
