CHILDREN and staff from Year Six at Wroughton Junior School, Gorleston, were transported back in time last week.
Dressed in 1940's style clothing they attended a film show and role-play at Cinema City, Norwich, and experienced second world war style evacuation as part of their history topic.
All children were required to carry their gas mask boxes, which had been made during design and technology lessons, and identification cards.
There was a sing-a-long to some of the well known songs of the era and a mock air raid. The children watched old black and white film footage of Norwich and other local towns during the wartime.
