STUDENTS at Yarmouth College could have greener and healthier lifestyles as they take part in a transport survey.
More than 3,300 students and 400 staff are being asked what help they need to take more environmentally friendly journeys to their Southtown campus.
The on-line survey will see if people will support car sharing schemes and could be encouraged to use public transport or walk or cycle to the college instead of going by car.
It is hoped that new cycle storage areas and changing rooms may be installed in the college as part of a 40m transformation of the campus.
College finance director Roy Hughes said: “We see this as a real opportunity to make a difference and is just one aspect of the commitment the college has to sustainable policy.”
