A BUILDER appeared before Great Yarmouth magistrates on Thursday accused of fraudulently charging a 78-year-old woman �16,000 for work on her house in Lower Cliff Road, Gorleston.
Bill Simpson, 50, of Hinton, Saxmundham, Suffolk, denied fraud by false representation and was granted conditional bail to reappear on April 23 for committal to crown court for trial.
