FIREFIGHTERS had to deal with an unusual request when they had to release a young woman from handcuffs at Great Yarmouth fire station.
The woman arrived with her partner at the station in Friars Lane at 6.20pm on Wednesday and said the couple had been “messing around” with the handcuffs before losing the key.
Fire service spokesman Steve Reilly said: “They had been messing about with the handcuffs and lost the key. She was fully clothed when she arrived at the station.”
The station staff took five minutes to release her from the handcuffs.
