The financial director of Great Yarmouth-based energy supply business CLS Offshore is to become commercial manager of offshore wind at SSE (Scottish & Southern Energy).
Sid Anverali will be based in Lowestoft, where SSE operates the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm.
CLS managing director Scott McMillan said the move, which is to one of CLS Offshore's customer, had been amicably agreed and he praised Mr Anverali for his excellent work over the past four and a half years at the company.
He said: 'More recently he has become more involved in the commercial side of our business, as well as finance, and that is something Sid wants to progress so the SSE role is an ideal opportunity.'
SSE Offshore Wind Generation Manager Stephen Rose said: 'We're delighted to have someone of Sid's knowledge and expertise joining us. We have a continuing good relationship with CLS Offshore who are one of our suppliers.'
