Thousands of people have been enjoying themselves today at a carnival and fete in the north Suffolk village of Corton, near Lowestoft.
At noon the Corton carnival and fete started with a parade of floats and colourful characters, such as King Henry VIII, a fish loving friar and a roving news team.
After the parade the fun then moved to the village playing field which hosted a wide range of activities for all the family, including the Lowestoft Dog Agility Display Team, the Funtastic Futures circus skills troupe and the Wicked School on Dance.
Ryan Holt, one of the organisers, said: 'The whole day has gone really well. We had about 2,500 people there at one point. It has been very successful.
'A lot of the floats were very colourful and there lots of good arena acts.'
There was also a balloon release, sponsored by Pleasurewood Hill, with the person whose balloon travels the furthest winning a trip to the attraction.
Today's carnival and fete was raising funds for East Anglia's Children's Hospices and the Big C cancer charity.
