Introducing himself to a police officer as 'Jimmy Riddle' landed a drinker in trouble on Prince of Wales Road.
David Trivett, 25, dropped his fast-food container late at night on April 14, and was told to pick it up by police, but became aggressive and was issued with an order banning him from area.
When the officer asked for his details to complete the order, Trivett said his name Jimmy Riddle before swearing.
Trivett, of Rivermead, Stalham, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly when he appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court yesterday. He apologised and was fined 80 and told to pay 100 costs.
