The stunning work of Norfolk and Suffolk boat builders will be on a world stage for the next 10 days as the glamorous London Boat Show kicked off this morning.
Industry heads said that while the climate was tough British boats, such as those built in East Anglian yards were doing well on a world stage.
Chief executive of Ipswich based Oyster, which makes many boats in Wroxham and a director of the show, David Tydeman, said: 'British boat building is doing quite well. There is new investment and we are investing a lot of money.'
He said that a lot of money was being made through the export market.
