As the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York approaches, will be marking the event with a series of features looking back at the day that changed the world and reflecting on its impact over the decade since.
But we want to hear from anyone who was in New York or America at the time; caught up in the attacks or affected by them and anyone whose life has been impacted or changed significantly since by the attacks as a result of them.
You may have been visiting America in September 2001, lost friends, relatives or colleagues in the al Qaida attack or be a soldier or relative of service personnel who found themselves fighting the global war on terrorism in the treacherous terrain of Afghanistan in the years since.
If you have a story, thoughts or views on September 11, email Mark Nicholls at mark.nicholls@mnmedia.co.uk
