In Stalham the High Street was closed off during the afternoon for an outside street party, with the over 55s and young children being given a meal helped with donations from local businesses and there was also music from Stalham Brass Band.
Elizabeth Jackson, one of those who helped organise the event, said: 'People have come from all over, it has been lovely, the local schools have also done artwork and the street events committee have also been a real help as well. 'There has been a large amount of public generosity.'
