Families have been urged to keep their windows locked, after a burglar reached through an open window to steal a computer and games console.
The burglar struck at a home in Post Office Close in Lingwood, snatching a black Acer laptop, red Nintendo DS and three games, which had been left in the windowsill.
It happened between 10am and 1pm on Friday, January 21.
Police urged people to keep their doors and windows locked wherever possible.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crime or who noticed suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time of the crime.
