Discount retailer Poundland has announced plans for a new Great Yarmouth store, creating 30 jobs.
The company will take over the former Rosebys furniture store at Gapton Hall industrial estate in Yarmouth to open the 4,700sq ft store with a combined staff and warehouse space of 2,000sq ft.
The national chain, which sells supermarket goods for �1, already has stores in Norwich, King's Lynn, Dereham, Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds and an existing premises in Yarmouth.
Poundland's trading director David Coxon said: 'Poundland has grown significantly over the past year and it's fantastic to see this expansion continuing with a new store in Great Yarmouth.'
Tim McDonnell, retail director at Poundland, added: 'We have decided to open a store here as we are currently trialling new stores in retail parks to develop a new catchment area for Poundland customers.'
