A Great Yarmouth Indian restaurant based in a former town centre pub building is forging a reputation for the quality of its meals.

The Indian Food Club is based in the former Gallon Pot and has just introduced Indo-Chinese dishes on its extensive menu.

It comes as word of mouth is spreading about the restaurant, which opened about eight months ago.

Its owner is Jilvi Manickathan, who used to work at the James Paget University Hospital and has a degree in hotel management.

He said: "Some people still don't know we are here. But when they come in they all come back again."
