Two wanted drivers have been arrested in Great Yarmouth.

The separate arrests were both made on Wednesday afternoon in the  town.

According to Norfolk & Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team, "pre-emptive tactics" were used to stop one vehicle.

The driver was allegedly wanted on a 'Failed to Appear' warrant and had no licence.

They were arrested and the vehicle was seized.

Police added that while officers awaited recovery for this stop, another vehicle "activated the 'coppers nose'" as it approached.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver was allegedly found to be wanted by immigration, had an invalid licence, no insurance and no MOT.

The driver was subsequently arrested and the vehicle was also seized.
