Olympic shot putter Sophie McKinna has had her training kit returned to her just days after it was stolen.
The Gorleston-born thrower woke up on Tuesday to discover her car in Bewick Close in Bradwell broken into and her shot puts stolen overnight.
The theft came just weeks before she is due to compete in the UK Athletics Indoor Championships.
One of the shot puts that was stolen was custom made and McKinna said it took six weeks to be shipped over from Japan.
In a tweet McKinna confirmed that her bag had been returned with all of her equipment inside, thanking the local media for coverage and praising the "power of community".
